Dwarkesh Power Infra ("we", "us", "our") operates this website (dwarkeshpower.in) and our mobile app — used for solar plant generation tracking, daily reporting, and plant operations — on behalf of our clients and staff. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and who we share it with.

Who this applies to

This website is public and informational — browsing it does not require an account. Our app is a business tool used by companies and their staff (SuperUsers, Supervisors, Employees, and Clients) to operate and monitor solar power plants; accounts are created by an administrator within your company, and there is no public sign-up. Neither the website nor the app is directed at children.

Information we collect

Through this website:

Contact form submissions — name, email, phone number, and message, when you reach out to us.
Standard server logs — IP address, timestamp, and page requested, used for security and debugging.

Through our mobile app:

Account information — name, email address, and role, provided by your company administrator when your account is created; your password is stored only as a salted hash, never in plain text.
Operational data you submit — daily generation reports, meter readings, inverter data, fault records, work records, leave requests, and inventory/asset records entered through the app.
Device push token— if you enable notifications on the mobile app, we store a Firebase Cloud Messaging token tied to your account so we can deliver report and leave-request notifications to your device. You can disable this at any time in your device's notification settings.

We do not collect precise location data, contacts, or photos, and neither the website nor the app contains advertising or third-party trackers.

How we use this information

To respond to enquiries submitted through this website.
To operate the app — authenticate you, show the plants and reports your account has access to, and let you submit/confirm reports.
To send push and email notifications relevant to your role (e.g. a new report awaiting confirmation, a leave request decision).
To generate PDF reports and, where a plant has it enabled, email daily reports to the addresses your company configures.
To keep our systems secure and diagnose issues.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

We share data only with the service providers that operate our infrastructure, strictly to provide the website and app:

Hosting — our servers and database run on Vercel and Supabase.
Push notifications — Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) delivers our app's mobile push notifications.
Email delivery — contact form replies and scheduled report emails are sent via our SMTP provider.

Within your own company, your name and role are visible to other app users your administrator has granted access to the same plants — that's how the app's collaboration features work. We do not share your data with any other company or third party.

Data retention

We retain your account and operational data for as long as your account is active, so historical reports remain available to your company. Contact form submissions are retained only as long as needed to respond to and follow up on your enquiry. If your company administrator removes your account, login access is revoked immediately; contact us at the email below if you'd like your personal account data deleted entirely, subject to any records your company needs to retain for its own operations.

Your choices

You can disable push notifications at any time from your device settings — the app continues to work normally without them.
You can ask your company's SuperUser/administrator to update or remove your account.
You can contact us directly (below) with any privacy question or request.

Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Passwords are stored as salted hashes, never in plain text. Access to plant and report data is restricted by role and by explicit plant assignment, enforced on every request.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of our website or app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
